Chinese porcelain jar, c. 1700, Kangxi Period. Carefully painted in underglaze blue, with two Phoenixes in flight amongst clouds; each Phoenix above a Buddhistic emblem. Painted to the neck, with a continuous chevron motif.
Height – 13.6 cm, 5 3/8”.
Diameter – 10.5 cm, 4 1/8”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
