Chinese porcelain rose water sprinkler, c. 1700, Kangxi Period. The Islamic Market sprinkler, painted with shaped panels of floral scroll, in underglaze blue. Having a shoulder painted with lappets suspended from a castellated collar, beneath stylised flowering plants to the elongated neck of the vase.
Height – 18 cm, 7 1/8”.
Diameter – 8 cm, 3 1/4”.
Condition – Typical fritting to the foot rim. No damage. No restoration.
