Chinese porcelain teapot and cover, c. 1750, Qianlong Period. The globular teapot, painted after a Meissen porcelain original, in the manner of J.G. Horoldt, with a Chinoiserie scene, of a seated man, taking tea, before a table, within quatrelobed gilt and iron red cartouche.
The cover similarly decorated, and having a tear drop finial.

Height – 12 cm, 4 3/4”.

Width – 19 cm, 7 1/2” (Spout to handle.)

Depth – 11 cm, 4 1/4”.

Condition – Repair to tip of spout. Typical wear to the gilt.
