Staffordshire or Yorkshire pottery ‘Canary Yellow’ and silver lustre jug, c. 1820. The globular body decorated in silver lustre with a continuous band of stylised floral scroll, heightened in iron red, on a yellow ground; beneath a silver lustre chevron decorated rim.
Having a silver lustre spout, and scroll handle.
Height – 11.5 cm, 4 1/2”.
Width (Spout to handle) – 14 cm, 5 1/2”.
Diameter – 10.2 cm, 4”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
