Joseph Holdcroft pottery majolica jug, c. 1870. The Japanesque style, circular jug, moulded to both sides with fish swimming. Having an angular, bamboo style handle, and raised upon an oval foot rim.
Covered in typical majolica glazes.
Impressed factory mark, and Registration mark to the base.
Height – 21 cm, 8 1/4”.
Width – 19 cm, 7 1/2”.
Depth – 7 cm, 2 3/4”.
Condition – No damage. No restoration.
