Pair of Coalport porcelain dishes, c, 1820, Regency Period. Both leaf shaped dishes, having gilt branch handles, terminating with bunches of grapes. The centre’s finely hand painted with sprays of Spring flowers, within gilt frames. The borders elaborately gilded with scrollwork.
Pattern number ‘162’ to both dishes.
Width – 20.5 cm, 8 1/8”.
Depth – 19.7 cm, 7 3/4”.
Height – 4.5 cm, 1 3/4”.
Condition – Spots of wear to the gilding – please see images for detail. No restoration.
