Royal Worcester porcelain urn, painted by William Hawkins, dated 1909. Finely painted with a gilt rimmed panel, containing a still life of apples, grapes, a pewter dish, and a stoneware jar, displayed upon a lace edged cloth, resting on a marble plinth. All upon a green ground; the reverse of which is painted with gilt sprigs.
Having twin gilt handles, moulded with prunus blossom, which continues around the body of the urn.
Signed – W. Hawkins.
Printed green factory marks and model number to the base.
Height – 10.2 cm, 4”.
Diameter – 12 cm, 4 3/4”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
