Royal Worcester Queen Victoria Jubilee scent bottle, 1887.
Rare Royal Worcester porcelain scent bottle, 1887. Made to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria. Finely moulded with a profile of Queen Victoria, against a gold ground, within a moulded wreath with the inscription ‘Victoria 1837 – 1887’.
The reverse moulded and gilded with the Flowers of the Union, within a wreath, inscribed ‘India’, ‘Canada’ and ‘Australia’.
Surmounted by a screw top silver cover, chased with scrolling foliage, and having hallmarks for Sampson Mordan, London, 1886.
Printed factory mark, and Registration number in gilt.
