Royal Worcester vase, ‘Swans in flight’, Charles Baldwyn, 1902.
Royal Worcester porcelain vase and cover, painted by Charles H. Baldwyn, dated 1902. Finely painted, with five swans flying amongst reeds, on a sky blue ground. The reverse with a swallow in flight.
The baluster shaped vase, having elaborate gilt scroll handles, from which hangs a gilded wreath, above acanthus leaf moulding. Set upon a square pedestal base, moulded with beading.
The domed cover, moulded with a continuous band of acanthus leaf, surmounted by a bud from finial.

Green printed factory marks, date code for 1902, and model number ‘1937’ to the underside of the base.

Condition: Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
