A rare Staffordshire pottery figure of a fox, c. 1860. Well modelled, with the fox standing upon an oval grassy mound, and naturistically coloured.
The base with a single gilt line.
Length – 14 cm, 5 1/2”.
Height – 16 cm, 6 1/4”.
Depth – 5.5 cm, 2 1/4”.
Condition – Small repair to right ear. Otherwise excellent condition.
