Yorkshire Prattware Shepherdess and Cow Group, circa 1820
Yorkshire pottery Prattware group, circa 1820. Modelled as a shepherdess, holding a basket,and stood with a cow and its calf. The shepherdess, decorated in Pratt coloured glazes, whilst the cow and the calf, are decorated with brown spits, on a buff ground. Set upon a shaped rectangular base.
Measures: Height – 15.2 cm, 6”.
Width -14.6 cm, 5 7/8”
Depth – 7.5 cm, 3”.
Condition – Repair to brim of girls hat – please see images for detail. Otherwise in original condition.
