A good quality French crystal glass casket, c.1860. The rectangular casket heavily cut with reeding,and having gilt bronze mounts cast with egg and rosette motif on a stippled ground.
The hinged cover of reeded form, surmounted by a cast gilt bronze rosette.
Having a star cut base.
Length – 8.5 cm, 3 1/4”.
Width – 6.2 cm, 2 3/8”.
Height – 7.5 cm, 3”.
Condition – Excellent.
