An Arita porcelain dish, Japan, 18th Century, Edo Period. Hand painted in underglaze blue, with an overall scene of a hare amongst flowering plants, beneath a tree, and clouds.
The reverse, with a continuous stylised floral scroll, and concentric circles. Three spur marks, within the unglazed footrim.
Diameter – 18.7 cm, 7 1/4”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
