Austrian terracotta pug dog, c. 1890. The recumbent dog, finely modelled with well delineated fur, wearing a collar, and having inset glass eyes. Unusually, and amusingly, the dog is fashioned, with his tongue poking out of his mouth.
Length – 34.5 cm, 13 5/8”.
Height – 21 cm, 8 1/4”.
Width – 17.5 cm, 6 7/8”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
