A fine Barr Flight and Barr Worcester porcelain egg stand, c. 1815. The circular stand, beautifully gilded with elaborated scroll work, around a central panel of gilt vermicelli, on a salmon pink ground. Having six apertures to receive egg cups, around a gilt ring handle, rising above moulded and gilt leaves.
The whole set upon a spreading pedestal foot, gilded with further vermicelli motif.
Impressed Crown and BFB mark to the underside.
Diameter – 21.5 cm, 8 1/2”.
Height – 12.5 cm, 4 7/8”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
