Barr Flight and Barr Worcester porcelain bowl, c. 1810. Hand painted in the most luxuriant Imari pattern with shaped panels of flowering plants, amongst rocks and fences, in an Oriental garden, with birds in flight.
The panels divided by stylised flowerheads, within a gilt cell motif, on a cobalt blue ground.
Set upon a stepped pedestal foot, with a broad gilt band.
Impressed Crowned BFB mark to the underside.
Diameter – 17.5 cm, 6 7/8”.
Height – 8 cm, 3 1/8”.
Condition – Minor wear to the gilt rim. No damage. No restoration.
