Bilston enamel patch box, c. 1770. The cover painted in monochrome, with a titled view of ‘St Ann’s Well, Buxton’ Derbyshire. Having a mirror inside the cover, and set in a metal frame, above a pink enamelled base.
Length – 4.6 cm, 1 3/4”.
Depth – 4 cm, 1 1/2”.
Height – 2.3 cm, 6/8”.
Condition: Typical stress cracks, and minute chip to the rear. No repair.
