Bilston enamel patch box, ‘A Present from SOHO’, c. 1800. The small oval patch box, with the hinged cover printed with the inscription, ‘A Present from SOHO’, London, beneath a ribbon tied garland.
The base coloured in apple green enamel.
Retaining the original mirror, inside the cover.
Length – 4.5 cm, 1 3/4”.
Height – 2.5 cm, 1”.
Width – 3.4 cm, 1 3/8”.
Condition – Chip to the base, and typical hairline stress cracks to the enamel – please see images. No restoration.
