Pair of Burmantofts Pottery vases, c. 1900. The baluster shaped vases, with tube lined decoration of stylised flowering plants, on an underglaze cobalt blue ground.
The interior glazed green.
Impressed marks – BURMANTOFTS FAIENCE, and one vase with THE LEEDS FIRECLAY COMPANY. Model number 2198 to both vases.
Height – 26 cm, 10 1/8”.
Diameter – 14 cm, 5 1/2”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
