Chantilly porcelain plate, France, c. 1755. The plate, hand painted to the centre, in soft tones, with a spray of flowers, and three insects.
Having an osier moulded border, within a lobed rim.
Puce hunting horn mark to the reverse.
Diameter – 24 cm, 9 1/2”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
Provenance – ex Mercury Antiques, Ladbroke Road, London.
