An extremely rare Chelsea porcelain beaker, c. 1750. The raised anchor period beaker of fluted form, and painted in the famille rose palette, with an exotic bird, perched amongst flowering peony, above blue rocks. The reverse with a single green insect. Painted internally with a single flower.

Diameter – 7 cm, 2 3/4”.
