Chinese biscuit porcelain figure of Cai Shen, Jiaqing Period.

Chinese partial biscuit porcelain figure, c. 1800, Jiaqing Period. Depicting the Immortal Cai Shen, seated, wearing robes, holding a Ruyi sceptre in his right hand, and a gold ingot in his left.
His robes glazed in shades of blue, whilst his other features are left in biscuit, including his sceptre, ingot, and the kidney shaped base.

Height – 19.5 cm, 7 5/8”

Width – 10.8 cm, 4 1/4”.

Depth – 7 cm, 2 3/4”.

Condition – Small chips to fingers on left hand. Otherwise excellent condition. No restoration.
