Chinese boxwood Dragon amongst clouds, c. 1900. Qing Dynasty.

Chinese boxwood carving of a dragon, c. 1900, Qing Dynasty. The sinuous dragon, flying through clouds, chasing the Flaming Pearl, positioned above his back. His scales beautifully detailed, with his tail curled behind.
Having inlaid eyes.

Height: 5.8 cm, 2 1/4”.

Width: 15.5 cm, 6 1/8”.

Depth: 4.5 cm, 1 3/4”.

Condition: Excellent. No damage. No repair.
