Chinese porcelain teapot and cover, c. 1880, Qing Dynasty. The pear shaped teapot, hand painted in Cantonese style, with a continuous scene of birds and insects amongst flowering plants, beneath a band of similar decoration, upon a gilt ground.
The cover similarly decorated, and having a gilt button finial.
