Chinese porcelain tea caddy and cover, Yongzheng, c. 1730. The lobed caddy set upon three stump feet, hand painted in famille rose enamels, with panels of flowering plants, beneath a green cell net diaper ground rim.
The shoulder painted with panels of flowerheads, on a pink ground.
Having a gilded petal moulded cover.
Height – 11 cm, 4 1/2”.
Width – 7.5 cm, 3”.
Condition – Two chips to the underside of the cover. Typical fritting to the rim – please see images for detail. No restoration.
