Chinese Imari tankard, silver mounted, c. 1720, Kangxi Period.

Chinese Imari porcelain, silver mounted, covered jug c. 1720, Kangxi Period. The large baluster shaped jug, hand painted in the Chinese Imari style, with a continuous scene of flowering plants, and a vase, placed upon rocks.
The cover similarly decorated.
Having 18th Century Dutch silver mounts.

Height – 21 cm, 8 1/4”.

Width – 17.5 cm, 6 7/8”.

Condition – Repair to tip of the cover, encased in silver. Some typical glaze fritting to the handle – please see images for detail.
