Chinese porcelain ‘Cider jug’, c. 1770, Qianlong Period. The large barrel shaped jug, hand painted in famille rose enamels, with large sprays of flowers, interspersed with smaller sprigs. The rim with a band of underglaze blue decoration.
Having a 19th Century ‘Tinkers repaired’ metal handle, with whicker banding.
