Chinese porcelain dish, c. 1730, Yongzheng Period. Hand painted to the centre, in famille rose enamels, with two horses prancing beneath a willow tree, within a pink and green diaper border, divided by panels of Buddhistic emblems.
The rim painted with flowering plants, within a continuous iron red whorl motif.
Having a chocolate brown rim.
Diameter – 22 cm, 8 5/8”.
Condition – Having a ‘tinkers’ metal wire repair to breaks at the rim – please see images for detail.
