Chinese porcelain kendi, c. 1830, Daoguang Period. The tall, elegant kendi painted in underglaze blue, with shaped panels containing boats in a river landscape, before islands and pavilions, on a flower painted ground.
The shoulder with a continuous band of ruyi head, and the elongated neck with a band of leaves, divided by a whorl motif.
Having a stubby spout, painted with flowers.
