Chinese porcelain tea pot and cover, c. 1850. Finely painted in the Cantonese style of famille rose or fencai enamels, with a continuous scene of figures before pavilions in garden settings. Having an entwined branch handle, with leaf terminals.
The cover, similarly decorated, and having a gilt bud finial.
Height: 10.5 cm, 4 1/8”.
Width (Handle to spout): 15.5 cm, 6 1/8”.
Depth: 9 cm, 3 1/2”.
Condition: Minor wear to the enamel and the gilt. No damage. No restoration.
