Chinese silver and enamel cricket cage, c.1900, Qing Dynasty. The top silver wired and enamelled with dragons flying amongst scrollwork, whilst the rims are decorated with scrollwork, on a turquoise ground.
Having a hook for suspension, whilst the whole stands upon three bracket feet.
Stamped mark to the underside.
Height – 14 cm, 5 1/2”.
Diameter – 9 cm, 3 1/2”.
