Amsterdam Bont decorated Chinese porcelain teabowl and saucer, c. 1750. The Chinese porcelain hand painted in underglaze blue, with a typical river landscape. Enhanced with later decoration, in Amsterdam, with a scene of a man carrying a bow and arrow, before a fence, and buildings, within a swag border of laurel, in iron red enamel, and gilt.
Diameter of saucer – 11.5 cm, 4 1/2”.
Height of teabowl – 4 cm, 1 5/8”.
Condition – Rim chip to the teabowl. Otherwise in excellent, unrestored condition.
