Chinese Yixing stoneware teapot, 18th Century.
A fine and large Chinese Yixing stoneware teapot, 18th Century, Qing dynasty. The globular buff coloured body, applied to either side, with grape vines, issuing from the branch style handle. Having a branch spout.
The pierced circular cover, having a branch handle.
Internally, the pot has one hole, connecting to the spout.
Length – 27.7cm, 10 7/8”.
Height – 15 cm, 5 7/8”.
Width – 17.4cm, 6 7/8”.
Condition – Tiny chips to the rim of the cover. Typical minor age related wear to the footrim. No restoration.
