Chinese Yixing stoneware teapot and cover, 18th century, Qing Dynasty. The square sectioned teapot, moulded to each side, with circular panels of pine trees, on a flowerhead ground. Having a squared spout, and a loop handle. Set upon four bracket feet.
The reticulated cover, moulded with cherry blossom, and surmounted by a squirrel finial.
Height – 15 cm, 5 7/8”.
Length (Spout to handle) – 21 cm, 8 1/4”.
Depth – 12 cm, 4 3/4”.
Condition – Chip to tip of spout. Otherwise excellent condition. No restoration.
