Christopher Dresser Designed Silver Mounted Glass Decanter, Dated 1879

A fine and elegant silver mounted claret jug, designed by Dr Christopher Dresser, dated 1879. The perfectly formed Webb’s glass decanter, with star cut base, having silver mounts bearing the hallmarks of Henry Wilkinson and Co., Sheffield, 1879.

Height – 28.5 cm, 11 1/4”.
