A fine Coalport porcelain ‘Jewelled’ vase and cover, c. 1900. The vase, hand painted with a circular panel depicting Loch Garry in the Highlands of Scotland, on a gilt ground, meticulously decorated with turquoise ‘jewelling’, with a continuous stylised gilt acanthus leaf motif, above circular pedestal foot. Having gilt, lion headed, angular handles.
The domed cover having further turquoise jewelling, and surmounted by a tear drop finial.
Printed green factory marks, and script title ‘LOCH GARRY’ to the underside.
Height – 12.5 cm, 4 7/8”.
Width – 8 cm, 3 1/8”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
