Coalport porcelain plate, c. 1830. Well painted to the centre, with a spray of flowers, within a circular gilt panel. The border with three shaped gilt scroll panels, contains a bird perched upon a branch, a spray of flowers, and fruit.
Those panels divided by gilt vase shaped panels, in Dr Wall Worcester style, amongst elaborate stylised gilt foliage, upon an underglaze cobalt blue ground.
Impressed number ‘9’ to the reverse.
Diameter – 22 cm, 8 5/8”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
