Copeland and Garrett porcelain Spaniel, c. 1840. The Spaniel, with finely moulded hair, and painted with black markings to his body; his paws grey. He rests, recumbent upon a large, puce cushion, edged with gilt tassels.

Printed green factory marks to the base.

Length – 19.5 cm, 7 5/8”.

Height – 12 cm, 4 3/4”.

Depth – 9.5 cm, 3 3/4”.

Condition – Minor wear to the enamel and gilt – please see images for detail. No restoration.
