Dutch Delft tobacco jar, c. 1720. Hand painted in underglaze blue with a large cartouche of scrolling leaves, topped with a basket of flowers, and containing the inscription ‘SPAANSE’.
Height – 23.5 cm, 9 1/4”.
Diameter – 18 cm, 7 1/8”.
