English porcelain screw top box, c. 1835. The cover finely painted in vibrant with a study of a young girl, looking out over a garden, all within a gilt framed panel.
The base with an elaborate gilt motif, with white enamel ‘jewels’, on an underglaze cobalt blue ground.
Diameter – 8 cm, 3 1/8”.
Height – 2 cm, 3/4”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
