Staffordshire pottery figure of a Dove, Enoch Wood, c. 1820. Well modelled as a dove, on its nest. The doves feathers well delineated, and heightened in puce enamel. It’s nest naturistically coloured in green, yellow and brown enamels.
Length – 17.7 cm, 7”.
Height – 11 cm, 4 3/8”.
Depth – 8 cm, 3 1/8”.
Condition – Some typical wear to the overglaze enamels. No restoration.
