French faience Galle style cat, c.1900. The tall seated cat, modelled with with a smiling face, and having green glass eyes.
Painted in underglaze blue, with tulips, and a collar, on a yellow ground.
Probably Galle or Mosanic, though unmarked.
Height – 35.5 cm, 14”.
Width – 19 cm, 7 1/2”.
Depth – 14.2 cm, 5 5/8”.
Condition – So e typical minor wear to the glaze.
