French miniature table bijouterie cabinet, c. 1900. The tortoiseshell veneered, Louis XV style, bombe shaped cabinet, set upon ormolu, rococo scroll legs. Having a working lock, and key; the key plate in the form of of twin dolphins.
The shaped, hinged lid, set with a bevelled edge glass, within a ribbed brass bezel.
Opening to reveal a printed lining, of a courting shepherd and shepherdess, in 18th Century attire, at a statue of Cupid, in a garden setting.

Height: 16.5 cm, 6 1/2”.

Width: 23.5 cm, 9 1/4”.

Depth: 17 cm, 6 3/4”.

Condition: No damage. No repair.
