Graingers Worcester reticulated porcelain vase and cover, c. 1890. The globular body, finely reticulated, with elaborate scrollwork, and supported by three gilded scroll legs, which rise from a similarly reticulated, cushion base. All beneath a raised gilt rim, further enhanced with red enamel ‘jewelling’.
The cover with similar reticulated scrollwork, and surmounted by a reticulated and gilt teardrop finial, rising above a gilt beaded, and ‘jewelled‘ collar.
A fine example of the wares produced at the Graingers Worcester factory, which would have influenced the work of George Owen at Royal Worcester.
