A Japanese Imari porcelain figure, c. 1700, Genroku Period. Finely modelled as a Bijin, wearing an elaborate underglaze blue kimono, painted with large flowerheads, on an iron red ground, and heightened with gilt flowering plants.

Having an unglazed base.
