Japanese Arita porcelain figure of a Bijin, late 17th Century, Edo Period. The elegant young lady, modelled standing, and wearing a loosely fitting kimono. Enamelled and gilded with flowering plants, over an undergarment with gilt flowerheads, on an iron red ground.
Her hair tied at the back.

Condition: Lacking hair piece. Typical minor wear to the overglaze enamel. No restoration.
