Indian silver three piece teaset, c. 1890. The lobe shaped teapot, chased with panels of flowering plants, figures in villages, and wild animals amongst trees, beneath a continuous panel of floral scrollwork. The spout with birds amongst dense foliage. Having a horn handle.
The similarly decorated cover, surmounted by an elephant finial.

The matching cream jug, and sugar bowl, decorated en suite, and having scroll handles.

Total weight – 845 grammes.

Height of teapot – 19.5 cm, 7 5/8”.

Width of teapot – 21 cm, 8 1/4”.
