Italian ‘Grand Tour’ bronze figure of Narcissus, c. 1870. The naked youth captivated by his reflection in a pool of water. He wears a band of grape and vine, in his wavy hair, and a goat skin over his shoulder.
Set upon a circular base, cast with a continuous stiff leaf and bead motif.
After the original Greco – Roman original, excavated at Pompeii in 1862.

Condition: Excellent condition. No damage. No repair.
