Japanese bronze okimono, c. 1890, Meiji Period. Well modelled as a snail coiled back on itself. A smaller snail crawls over the back of its shell.
Original patination.
Height – 4 cm, 1 5/8”.
Width – 6.5 cm, 2 1/2”.
Depth – 6 cm, 2 3/8”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No repair.
