Japanese cloisonné vase, Tamura Yukio, Shōwa Period.

Japanese cloisonné vase by Tamura Yukio (1933-2009), Shōwa Period. The tall, conical shaped vase, worked in both musen and yusen shippo, with flowering plants. The enamel dripping, revealing the speckled gilt metal base of the vase, which is in turn covered in clear enamel.

Contained in the original tomabako.

Height – 31 cm, 12 1/8”

Diameter – 12.5 cm, 4 7/8”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
